Dink has just implemented Rewards via PunchTab. This is great news for us all! If you’ve not heard of PunchTab, then allow me to explain. It is a platform which rewards the loyalty of visitors such as yourself. If you continue to engage with us here at Dink then you will start to accumulate points and what do points mean? That’s right, prizes.

See that little red ribbon over there to your left? Go ahead and click it.

That should have opened up Dink Rewards (you may need to connect with with Facebook first – don’t worry it won’t post on your wall or anything like that, it just ensures you are allocated the points you deserve!). From Dink Rewards you can probably see your points, a leaderboard of the the top scorers, a ‘What to do next’ section and a Catalog.

As your points increase, you are going to work your way up that leaderboard and when you accumulate enough points you can head to the catalog to redeem those points for real value prizes!

Earning Points

So how do you earn points I hear you ask? Well:

  • 100 points a day for visiting Dink
  • 100 points for a ‘Liking’ an article via facebook
  • 100 points for tweeting about a new article on twitter
  • 100 points if an article is +1′d by you
  • 100 points for a comment on an article

You will only receive points once per article. Just look for a small red ribbon, where you see that ribbon – there’s points to be earned!

Redeeming Points

Once you’ve accumulated enough points, you can spend them via the rewards tab (the rewards ribbon in the bottom left corner). From there PunchTab takes over, prizes include e-bay, Best Buy and Groupon gift cards. Over time, new prizes will be added to the Catalog and you may even see a giveaway appear in the near future!

If you are confused about anything, feel free to let me know in the comments (that would earn you 100 points by the way…) or visit the PunchTab FAQs.

Start earning those points!
