Account Tracker
For anyone using Account Tracker for iPhone or iPad, today I bring you some good news! Account Tracker’s developer Graham Haley has hinted at bringing the well loved application to the Mac App Store.
When asked about Account Tracker’s future:
Account Tracker for iPhone and iPad
For those of you unfamiliar with Account Tracker for iPhone or iPad, let me quickly get you up to speed. Account Tracker is simply the greatest financing application on both the iPhone and iPad, done.
What makes Account Tracker so great is the ability to track the finances of multiple accounts, such as cash, ISAs, current accounts, credit cards etc. Monitoring exactly where every penny goes. You can control repeated incomes and expenses with ease and as a result see what your estimated bank balance will be next week, next month, even next year. This makes it easy to plan and budget well in to the future.
With some great reporting features, you can also see what your money is being spent on by category, by account, by detail or by date. All these features and more make Account Tracker truly great. Although currently lacking a live syncing solution for iPad and iPhone users, it is possible to stay in sync between devices by making back ups to dropbox and then restoring these back ups on the other device. Unfortunately, this does mean data isn’t merged, but if you track your finances on your iPhone and then sync to your iPad, this shouldn’t be a problem!
With the introduction of a Mac app, the syncing possibilities are opened up. With the upcoming features of iCloud, Account Tracker is set to become a great app for all your Apple devices.
