Mobile Mouse

Mobile Mouse is one of those ‘magical’ apps, an app which you can amaze your friends with. Fortunately it is a functional app too! This application turns your iPhone in to a wireless mouse for your PC or Mac, but it is much more than that – it features a media library browser, keyboard, function buttons, quick access menus and much more.

This app makes it easy to control your computer whilst on your bed or sofa. Maybe you’re in the kitchen and you want some music on? Fire up your Mobile Mouse and open iTunes from your phone.

Version 2.6

Added in the latest version is a functional file browser making it much easier to open documents, files and applications all from your iPhone. Also introduced is a ‘natural scrolling’ option, the love/hate Lion feature recently introduced to OS X. Now whilst the natural scrolling feature is not loved by all, some of the new multi-finger gestures are and guess what, they are now present in Mobile Mouse, including:

  • Four finger swipes (Up, down, left and right)
  • Four finger pinch
  • Four finger spread
  • Three finger drag
  • Three finger tap
  • Double three finger tap
  • Double two finger tap
Also available in this update is a £1.49 in-app purchase which will provide a ‘Pro Presentation’ remote. Whilst the update does include a standard presentation mode featuring the addition of some large buttons, perfect for moving forwards/backwards through presentation slides with ease as well as slide number and title indicators, the pro presentation upgrade adds a fair bit more:
